So, my mom went into the hospital on June 15 to have a routine back surgery. They took her into the OR and shortly after they administered the anesthesia she had a heart attack. Luckily they hadn’t started the surgery yet so they were able to resuscitate her. She was in the hospital for 11 days and had some other complications.
She had a cath on Friday to check on some things but the cardiologist says she’s good. No damage to the heart, the stint that was installed as an emergency life-saver is working well and she is cleared to go ahead with the back surgery that she wasn’t able to have in June.
It’s been a rough couple of months. I’ve been having some issues, stuck in a rut, life kind of at a stand-still, that kind of junk. But nothing I’ve not dealt with before. So, I’m still around, still kicking. Trying to get back into blogging on a regular basis. Right, how many times have I said that before? Just trying to get motivated to move on with my life. Getting real tired of standing still.
